Visiting Krka national park turned out to be the highlight of our Croatia trip! It was a very action-packed day, which I like. Of course you see the beautiful natural park, but I liked that there were other activities. For example, the boat ride. Visiting the power plant and the water mills were also cool. Seeing Skradin was super fun (we swam there!), and the food tasting was divine. My point is that it’s more than just UNESCO World Heritage sites like the national park. You also visit these towns, taste local food, see cool architecture…I feel like it’s very good value for money.
We decided to visit Krka national park from Split because we were in Split for like a week. Was a great day trip option. They were super on top of things. The bus was right on time, boat ride was smooth, all the wine and food was laid out and waiting for us. Stuff like that I really appreciate. Our guide Sanja was also amazing. She was a natural storyteller, and really brought the national park to life. One of the better guided tours I’ve been on. It wouldn’t have been the same without her!
