Lovely day at Krka!

I visited Krka with my husband while exploring Dalmatia and the islands, and it turned out to be just as beautiful as the coast. The waterfalls were stunning, the water was crystal clear, and the paths were easy to walk. Our guide explained a lot during the bus ride. We learned why Skradinski Buk has 17 cascades, how the old water mills worked, and a bit about the history of the river and the area. We also visited Skradin, enjoyed a delicious traditional Dalmatian lunch, and even swam at the beach. A lovely day trip! We’re really glad we added it to our schedule. Well worth it!

A perfect escape from summer heat!

We were spending our holidays in Croatia, and although most of our time was around Zadar, we decided to visit Krka to see something different. We visited in August during the big heat, so the park felt like a great retreat; cooler, quieter, and full of shade. What impressed us most was how the water flows through so many little pools and streams before reaching the main waterfall. Our guide gave simple tips on where to start and what not to miss, which helped a lot. The boat ride was calm and gave us beautiful views of the river. It ended up being one of the most refreshing days of our trip. Highly recommend this day tour to anyone visiting Croatia!
